Common Questions

How long is a training session?
Personal training sessions are generally 60 minutes, behavour consultations are an initial 90 mins with a follow up 60 min session, Puppy Power Up sessions are 45 mins.
Can my family attend the session?
All the family can be present for a training session but it is important that only one person at a time instructs the dog so the dog doesn't get confused. Please indicate when booking who will be attending the session.
why do I need to complete a behaviour history?
Providing information about your dog and your household before the session helps make sure we get the most out of the consultation session. It saves time and helps to direct what areas to focus on.
do you have dog training qualifications?
Yes, I have a certificate III in dog training and behaviour. I also have tertiary qualifications in zoology and animal welfare. I am committed to continuing professional development and regularly attend seminars, workshops and conferences.
Do you train My Dog?
I teach you the skills so you can train your dog. If you would like me to do the ongoing training with your dog please contact me to discuss your needs.
What areas do you service?
I provide services on the Bellarine Peninsula and Geelong. If you are out of this area, please contact me to discuss options or book an online or phone consultation. Note that sessions outside of my service area may have a travel surcharge.
How is payment handled?
A tax invoice is issued for all sessions. Payment can be made by electronic transfer or cash.
Do you offer sessions at my home?
Yes, I offer in home sessions within the service area of the Bellarine Peninsula and Geelong. I also have a secure training area on the Bellarine.
Are you insured?
Yes, I have public liability and professional idemnity insurance. I also have current police record and working with children checks.
